About Us

OFB/Our Father’s Business originated in November of 2008 when a commitment was made to convert an owner operated home contracting business into a team operated model that could be duplicated and then multiplied. This first business conversion is the starting point of a 30 year plan to build a multi-generational, self-sustaining marketplace ministry that will build Kingdom wealth. The assets will be passed down from generation to generation under the authority of the Board of Elders. The income from the assets will be used for team compensation tied to results and supporting local ministries.

There are currently 2 home contracting businesses involved in the owner to team conversion process. It is estimated the conversion will take 3-5 years for each business. Southwest Exteriors is almost 4 years into the conversion process and Sterling Home Technology is almost 2 years into the conversion process. The plan is to have 8-12 home contracting businesses in the San Antonio area working together in the next 5 years using the OFB home contracting business model being developed. These businesses will operate under the authority of the Board of Elders. Coaches are currently being developed to coach the team leaders and the team leadership council for each contracting business. Each of these contracting businesses will become economic engines to fund local ministries. This concept was inspired by R.G. LeTourneau, the founder of LeTourneau University in Longview.

We have a heart to be a catalyst in the transformation of the City of San Antonio, which was founded as a mission city. We believe that San Antonio is uniquely equipped with leaders and opportunities to be a city on a hill that cannot be hidden, as referred to in Matthew 5:14. We believe that if the people of God will engage in doing the work of God in their circles of influence, the city will be transformed in the name of Jesus Christ. We want to support Kingdom leaders by connecting them with Kingdom resources. We are connecting 3 generations of leaders to work together through the leading of the Holy Spirit to bring the vision into reality. We believe we are to invest our lives in the things that are eternal: God, God’s word, and people.

Our desire is to connect with like-minded people and work together in the future to transform this city and this nation by being the salt and light we are called to be. May we act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
